Fall Shabatonim

This year we have an exciting new program in the fall. We are partnering with Urban Adamah in Berkeley to offer an immersive shabbat-on-the-farm experience full of joyful shabbat practice and communing with the plants, animals, and each other. Urban Adamah is an exciting local organization whose mission is "to integrate the practices of Jewish tradition, sustainable agriculture, mindfulness, and social action to build more loving, just, and sustainable communities." These shabatonim will be more intimate than the winter and spring retreats, creating an opportunity for teens to bond with their immediate age groups.

Space for the Fall Retreat is filling quickly.
The RSVP link for the fall retreat is NOW open.  Click-here to *RSVP for our amazing fall retreat on November 4-6 at Camp Loma Mar in the magical Santa Cruz Mountains.

Midrasha's uniquely inclusive, pluralistic, retreats are THE place where teens deepen their relationships with each other, our faculty and meet teens from the other Midrasha campuses.  Retreats are where existing friendships are deepened, with other Berkeley Midrasha teens, and new friendships are are created with the teens coming from our other three Midrasha partners.

RSVP  today for the Midrasha Fall Retreat November 4-6.  Retreats are one of the amazing ways that we extend the magic of Midrasha over an entire weekend.   Directed by the amazing Debra Marx, retreats bring all of the great things about Midrasha together and kick's up the experience to a whole other level.

How do retreats work?  If you registered for the retreats in the fall, as part of your registration, we still require that you RSVP.  This ensures that we can give an accurate number of retreat participants to the camp site.  Do you wonder if you registered for Retreats?  If you are in 8th or 9th grade you are automatically registered for all three retreats. You just have to RSVP here to let us know you are coming.   If you forgot to register as part of your RSVP process, it is not too late, please RSVP and we will send you the retreat enrollment form.  This year, 10th-12th grade teens are not required to register for all three retreats.  They may, instead register for one, two or three retreats.

*Once you RSVP, you are obligated to the retreat, unless you cancel by the cancellation date.  The RSVP deadline is October 13.
